1.0 - The Rebirth of Spring“In the spring, you will be reborn.”Sunlight peeked through the soft pink petals, gently nudging the creature onto a flower bed. Underneath a newly bloomed cherry blossom tree, the beast stirred, rising from the wide petals of a flower. A tail, the color of fresh morning dewdrops, with pearls of the sea, swished through the morning air. A curtain of fresh tulips, her hair, sways as she rises from her slumber.Where is she? Why has she awoken once again? Was the pain and suffering not enough? She cannot remember who she is, but she sees glimpses of the life she had before.A song, a friend, an end to a story that she had never wanted in the first place. Soft whispered words as she let go of her remaining threads of life, her golden pearl of life. The pearl that shone an iridescent color inside her had gone dull, black like the deepest abyss. Why could she not remember?In the distance, as the sweet spring breeze brushes past her hair, she sees a figure walking towards her. The figure approaches her and reaches out a hand, face covered by a deep-blue mask.“We’ve been waiting for you.
